You've Probably Tried Everything You're Supposed To Do
Perhaps you've:
- stretched your calf every morning
- rolled your foot over a ball or bottle
- bought different shoes
- tried insoles or orthotics
- rested it
- taken painkillers
- followed exercises on YouTube
- even had physio, injections or shockwave
Some things might have helped temporarily.
But the pain keeps coming back.
And eventually you start asking:
“Why isn't my foot actually healing?”
That's the question this book was written to answer.
What If You've Been Focusing On The Pain... Instead Of What's Causing It?
Most plantar fasciitis advice understandably focuses on the painful area
Stretch it.
Support it.
Massage it.
Rest it.
But there's another question that needs answering:
Why is your plantar fascia being overloaded in the first place?
ver more than a decade working with people suffering persistent heel pain, I've repeatedly seen something important:
How you stand, how you get up, how you walk and how you load your foot every day matters.
You might perform an exercise for 10 minutes.
But you spend the rest of the day standing and walking.
That's why my approach starts differently.
Standing first. Walking second. Strength and capacity progressively rebuilt from there.
The £4.99 book introduces you to this approach and helps you understand why repeatedly treating the painful area alone may not have solved your problem.

From 10–20 Painful Steps To Ballroom Dancing Again
Having come back from holiday with Plantar Fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis I had tried to follow the course of exercises by the physiotherapist at our GP surgery. After 3 weeks the pain was so bad that I could barely put my foot on the floor.
After significant research and discussion with Stephen I undertook a course of treatment, the outcome of which was excellent. From being only able to take 10-20 painful steps at a time, within 3 weeks I was able to undertake 6 minute walks on a daily basis. The key aim of the treatment was to walk properly and get back to ballroom dancing.
My balance and posture have significantly improved and I am able to climb the 4 flights of stairs to my craft room.
All in all the advice, treatment and support given by Stephen has made an enormous difference to my life.
About the Author
Stephen Grinnell MSc
Why I Wrote This Book
For more than 14 years I've worked with people struggling with persistent plantar fasciitis and heel pain.
And I've repeatedly seen the same pattern.
People arrive having spent months — sometimes years — stretching, changing shoes, buying insoles, resting and searching online for the next exercise.
They're not failing because they haven't tried hard enough.
They're often missing a clear rehabilitation strategy.
My work focuses on something incredibly practical:
How you stand.
How you walk.
How you move.
And how you progressively rebuild your body's ability to cope with everyday activity.
I wrote Plantar Fasciitis — Heel Your Pain to make that approach accessible to anybody who wants to understand their condition before deciding what to do next.

Testimonials
Like lots of people with Plantar Fasciitis, it got progressively worse, and my heel pain was severe even when sitting down. The movements and progressive nature of the programme mean I have fully recovered and am doing exercise again.
Janet Coley
I walk a short distance to my work every day. My Plantar Fasciitis was so bad that I was taking twice as long to get there and was not able to function effectively. The initial movements felt like they were life-changing and made work easier. As I improved and progressed, I was able to go out for long walks again.
Judy Smith
I was struggling to walk more than 20 steps due to Plantar Fasciitis. This programme was a revelation, as it initially helped with standing and walking, progressing to longer walking and standing. The last element enabled me to start dancing again, and I now have 3 lessons a week!
